The Chaos Dimension is an intricate network of realms that serves as a visual representation of my neurodiverse mind, where consciousness takes physical form.
The Chaos Dimension uses dream journaling, paint pouring, dada poetry, and automatism to translate the subconscious into vivid, immersive realms to reveal messages from the unconscious as a gateway to ancestral knowledge, the spiritual realm, the soul itself, and suppressed histories. To explore personal battles with neurodiversity, I channel overwhelming emotions through paint pouring, whose unpredictable movement allows me to metaphorically take control of the chaos.
In this world, I investigate ancestry, memory, dreams, the unconscious, alternate realities, and identity. I take influence from Negritude, Afrofuturism, but pays special attention to theories of consciousness by Freud, Jung, Micheal Newton, and concepts of Fictioning by Simon O'Sullivan. Each piece acts as a portal into a realm where memory, desire, and ancestral knowledge intertwine.
